Installing DragStrip 3.6 for Windows

Once you have downloaded the DragStrip installer, you should run it. It will step you through the simple process of installing the DragStrip applications and its related files.

Once the installer has finished installing DragStrip, it will open a window containing a shortcut to DragStrip itself. You can launch DragStrip for the first time by double clicking on this shortcut. DragStrip will launch and create a new untitled strip for you. You can begin adding files, folders, disks, URLs, etc to it immediately, but it is probably a good idea to read the rest of the documentation so that you can learn some of the neat ways to organize your strips.

Remember to save your strips before quitting (if you forget, DragStrip will ask you where to save the file the first time, from that point on, it will always save it for you). When you choose Exit from the DragStrip menu, DragStrip will remember which strips are open and the next time you start DragStrip, those strips will automatically be opened for you.

DragStrip should also add itself to your Startup Items list so the everytime you start Windows, it will open automatically. This means that your strips will always be there for you.

Now its time to move on to the Using DragStrip section.
